Issaquah ends up being only an hour's ride from the town where some
scenes in Northern Exposure were
shot, in the early 1990s. Today I took a long lunch and made
the ride in.

A dozen years after the last new episode of Northern Exposure aired and
still, a few groups of people
stopped by for shots of the mural in the space of about 20 minutes.
