Motorcycle-wise, I intend to do most of my touring on my Suzuki DRZ. One fantastic resource is the DualSport BC site,
whose members have been unstintingly helpful and friendly. Give them a look!

Since getting back into motorcycling this year, my interest in riding
has shifted from "just street riding" to "street riding + some
offroad". Consequently, I'm saving my pennies to see when I
can
bring home a dual-sport bike, most likely a KLR650. Adventure
travel on a motorcycle sounds like tremendous fun!
But where to go....there are a lot of places in the American West that
I'd like to explore, like Wyoming and Montana. But the idea
of
heading up North and seeing Alaska up close and personal is really
appealing as well. In starting to research this, it's become
abundantly clear that Western Canada is a destination in its own right.
So I'll be maintaining this page with its list of resources for
exploring all these areas.
